Ask what is checked and how it is recorded
A useful supplier answer names checkpoints: requirement review, material arrival, cutting, sewing, decoration, finished garment inspection, packing and export handoff.
The answer should also say how those checks are recorded or shared when a buyer asks for proof.
Do not confuse certificate claims with order QC
Factory audit documents, material certifications and QC reports are different things. Each should have real holder, validity, scope or report evidence before a buyer relies on it.
Buyers should request the real document pack when certificate or inspection proof matters.
Use common complaints as QC focus areas
Common apparel complaints include size mismatch, fabric defects and print color variance. Those issues map directly to measurements, fabric inspection and decoration review.
A project brief should name the most important risk so the sample and QC process can focus on it.
